Rubber Industry

Our Hydrated Lime is used as performance additive and functional filler in rubber industry and acts as an accelerator. Not only it improves heat resistance, size stability, hardness of base material, most importantly, it reduces the cost in manufacturing.

Our GCC is useful as an extender and in controlling the flow properties of products which are to be moulded or extruded. A widespread application is in latex carpet backing materials.

Coated Nano PCC reinforces rubber’s strength, tear resistance and provide abrasion resistance. Not only has it reduced latex content, it is also better at absorbing oil than PCC and provides better dispersion and thermal stability when making silicone rubber.

Coated Nano PCC is free of sharp edges and the cylinders and crews of extrusion machine suffer less wear and tear. It bond better with resin as the smaller the particle size, the greater the stiffness.

In PVC resins (CPVC) and impact modifiers. A poor surface finish is often formed due to the melt extrusion behaviour of the rheology of the compounds are difficult to bind from the resins and additives. Coat Nano PCC improves surface finishes and increases the impact strength.

In addition, Coated Nano PCC improves the processing behaviour in cable formulations. Utilising Coated Nano PCC in plasticised PVC enables high surface gloss, smooth surface finishes and white scratch mark resistant. Also, it is highly efficient in HCl acid gas absorption and it is more resistant to white flex marking.

Both Coated PCC and Nano PCC reduce the porosity in plastic and the fineness and dispensability, help to create high integrity surfaces which are highly resistant to wear and tear.
